So first, let me share the happenings from when Paul was with the Army for a couple of weeks and when my parents came into town. To be honest, we didn't do a whole lot since I was still teaching all day, but my parents kept busy. Here are some snapshots:
My parents loaded up our house with all sorts of treats, so of course, Katelyn "accidently got into" the cookies. She was caught red-handed.
Katelyn also "found" this new toy in the living room. I guess it just appeared, assembled and everything! She loves it!
And no, that is not me feeding her a Wendy's Frosty. I don't know who that is. Whoever it is though, she sure is spoiling Katelyn. Katelyn doesn't seem to mind though.
My parents did admit to planting some beautiful flowers in the front of our house. Some of our neighbors have commented on how nice they look. Our landlord was even over the other day and said she loved them. Good work Gardner Mike and Gardner Jo.
It was hard saying goodbye to my parents. It sure was nice having free babysitters and being spoiled. But, we all need a reality check every once in awhile.
The good news: Paul is home. The bad news: now its back to cooking my own dinner.
aw looks like so much fun! and she is sooo big! she has grown up so much. she sure is beautiful!
