After getting home from the hospital and "settled" in, I took Zac's newborn pictures. He is 4 days old in these photos and just so perfect.
At 5 days old, on February 1, Paul gave Zac a beautiful blessing at church. Among many other things said, he blessed Zac with the knowledge that Jesus is the Christ, to remember Zacharias (whom he was named after) and have a desire to perform his Priesthood duties as faithfully as Zacharias did when he comes of age, and to sacrifice his life to build up the kingdom of God and do the will of Heavenly Father just as Zacharias laid down his life for John. Like I said, it was a beautiful blessing and the Spirit was strong.
My mom made Zac's blessing outfit and while she made the smallest size possible, we still had to pin and tuck. Zac was just a tiny thing. He was so handsome though!
We were also able to finally take our first "family of 5" photo.
And several other photos just for fun...
Even though he slept through most of the day, it was sure a special day for Zac.
