The Fun Bus

With Paul home, we spent the second half of March taking rides on the fun bus, both literally and figuratively.
One of the first family outings was bowling.  The girls were so excited and as soon as Zac realized there were balls to play with, he was content.  And don't mind the bandaid on Zac's head.  He took a dive off my bed into the corner of my nightstand.  Poor guy!  I thought the design of the bandaid was fitting.
We threw a little welcome home party for Paul a few days after being home.  It was fun to watch him reconnect with friends.  We were grateful for all those who stopped in or sent us well wishes.
We had plenty of moments of just being silly together, like dressing up in daddy's clothes and playing outside.
The weather warmed up so we made a stop to visit the neighborhood horses.  Zac wasn't too sure at first, but eventually started "talking" to them and wanted to help feed them.
We took Paul to see the finished temple.  Thankfully he was able to come home just in time for the dedication, but missed the open house.  The temple grounds were locked on the day we went to visit, so we spent our time playing in the Nu Skin water fountains.  The kids didn't mind the change.
Don't worry, the fun doesn't stop here!  More to come in the next post, whenever I can get it done!  Hah!
