Stumpin' It

Being homeowners is a lot of work and we are loving it!  We still have several projects on our to-do list, one of which is re-doing our front yard.  We decided to eliminate some of the trees and free up grass space.  We hired a company to cut down the trees but they left the stumps in an effort to save a large chunk of change.  The girls made sure to put good use to them and did a little stump singing:

Last week Paul took a day off of work to rent a stump grinder and hack away at the stumps.  We owe a special thanks to one of our neighbors for driving Paul to and from the store in his truck so we could load the grinder.  It was literally an all day project that gave Paul a good workout.  We are looking forward to the end result…whenever that will be.
