On Christmas Eve, the girls got to open new Christmas pajamas! I think they were expecting a little more, but nonetheless, had a blast opening them.
With how excited the girls were, I expected them to come barging into our room at 5AM to see if Santa came, but thankfully, they slept until 7:30. I can handle 7:30. We opened presents and ate cinnamon rolls. It was a nice relaxing morning!
Santa went a little overboard and brought the girls TWO huge bears. Seriously, it is like we have adopted these bears as now they must be housed and fed. Even though they take up an enormous amount of space, the girls quickly learned to drag them around the house, jump on them (see video), lay on them, etc. It has been fun to watch.
The girls were also very spoiled with Frozen themed presents - they are all about the princesses these days.
Oh, and we also woke up to a very white Christmas! So some of the day was spent shoveling the sidewalks! Thanks, Paul! We had a nice quiet Christmas dinner with one guy from Paul's work - but really, we just enjoyed the slow-paced, relaxing day. It was a wonderful Christmas!
Here's the Christmas card and rhyme we sent out this year!
