Feeling Better

The one thing in the world that I absolutely hate is vomit- the smell, the look, the act of doing it, the thought of it - everything about it is disgusting.  Well, this past weekend our house was hit.  Paul was sick all Friday night, and then Katelyn was sick on Saturday night.  It is one thing to listen to someone vomiting, another to have someone vomit all over you, multiple times.  Thankfully it was only a 24 hours bug and Paul was able to help me clean and take care of Katelyn.

Luckily, I was not a victim and survived the vomit outbreak.  The Ridge family, however, was not so lucky.  You see, we thought it would be fun to go out for frozen yogurt with them on Friday, and I guess that is when they became unsuspecting targets.  I blame Paul for contracting this germ and spreading it like wildfire.

I am now grateful that everyone is feeling better and back to "normal" - whatever that is.  The house is cleaned and life can go on.  I told my mom that I hoped I reached my lifetime quota of dealing with vomit, but she just laughed in my face.  Thanks mom!

The joys of motherhood - the good, the bad, and the disgusting.  No pictures this time since scrap-booking vomit is not my list of things to do.
